Genuine In-house 24 Hour Emergency Line

We are all aware that an important part of being a vet is having a passion to care for animals. The vets and nurses in Veterinary Hospitals must fulfil annual Continued Professional Development requirements and are committed to providing top quality care to your pet. But even the most dedicated vet cannot work without a high standard of modern equipment and nursing support.

The 'Veterinary Hospital' title guarantees that your vet has the facilities to help your pet even in the most difficult circumstances.

There is a long list of requirements for Veterinary Hospitals but some of the most important are:

24 Hour Nursing Care

Only Veterinary Hospitals are guaranteed to have staff available to treat in-patients 24 hrs a day.

Intensive Care Facilities

Only Veterinary Hospitals to have intensive care equipment such as Oxygen therapy units and intravenous fluid pumps.

Operating Facilities and Diagnostic Equipment

Only Veterinary Hospitals are required to have dedicated operating facilities, ultrasound machines, endoscopy facilities and ECG machines.

These mandatory facilities allow Veterinary Hospitals to offer the very best of care.

Emergency Service

WE HAVE OUR OWN IN-HOUSE EMERGENCY SERVICE. You might have thought that all vets would have a nurse in attendance at night. You may be surprised to learn this is not the case and in many practices pets are left unattended at night. We believe it is very important that a member of our nursing team is always on duty to look after your pet. Unlike a lot of veterinary centres the out of hours care at night, weekends and bank holidays is managed by our own team of vets and nurses, we do not contract the work out to other clinics.

Our clients are our priority

By providing our own emergency service, there are real benefits for our clients in terms of accessibility to the veterinary team who can give immediate advice and reassurance. Finally, the last thing you will need in an emergency at night is the additional problem of trying to find a surgery in an alien location or having your pet treated by a strange vet who does not have the full case history to hand.
