Dogs are vaccinated against Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus Listeriosis, and Parainfluenza.
Puppies can be given their 1st vaccination from 6 weeks of age. A booster is then required at 10 weeks or between 2-4 weeks after their 1st vaccination if this was given at 8 weeks or older.
Dogs need annual booster vaccinations.
Kennel Cough. Although not considered a fatal disease vaccination is strongly recommended if going into areas of risk, such as boarding kennels. It is given 3 weeks prior to kennelling (time needed for parainfluenza immunity to develop) significant immunity to Bordatella develops after 72 hours. Annual booster recommended.
Cats are vaccinated against Cat Flu, Feline Panleucopenia, Chlamydia and Feline Leukaemia.
1st Vaccination is given from 9 weeks of age, then a booster is given 3 weeks later. An annual booster vaccination is then required.
Rabbits are vaccinated against Myxomatosis and Viral Haemorrhagic Disease HVD.
Myxamatosis vaccination can be given after 6 weeks of age, HVD from 10 weeks of age, we recommend two weeks between vaccinations.
An annual booster is then recommended.
