Cremation and Burial Options
We understand that when your pet passes, it is a very difficult time.
We are here to guide you through your options for cremation or burial with sensitivity, compassion and ease.
We currently offer the following options:
Communal cremation
This means your pet’s ashes will not be returned to you.
The charges for this service can be found on our website.
Individual cremation
Your pet will be individually cremated and their ashes returned within 10 working days.
A brochure with vessel choices is available, options include casket, urns and scatter tubes.
A member of our team will contact you to arrange collection of your loved one.
Our pet crematorium service is provided by Summerleaze. They have a memorial garden if you wish to honour your pet with a headstone, flowers or small ornamental tribute. They can be contacted directly to arrange this service, please see contact details below:

Home burial
If you would prefer a home burial, this option may be available to you if you are able to meet the statutory guidelines.
For a home burial you will need:
- To own the land where your pet is to be buried.
- To avoid burial near water sources.
- All burial sites need to be a minimum of 2 feet deep in hard soil or 3 feet if lighter soil.
- The pet’s remains must not be hazardous to human health (e.g., if death is caused by a contagious disease).
Please be aware that you are only allowed to bury your pet at the home they lived in, or at a registered pet cemetery.
Prints and Fur Clipping
To help you through this distressing time, our practice is happy to provide you with a complimentary paw print and fur clipping service.
If you would like to utilise this service, please make one of our team aware at the time of booking your end-of-life appointment.
